Diane Henderiks' Creamy Sundried Tomato Spread

A rich but healthy spread for crackers or raw vegetables.

Ingredients
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, blanched and drained.
- 8 ounces low-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon True Lemon (one packet)
- 1 teaspoon of hot pepper flakes
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
- Crackers, crostini, or fresh sliced vegetables for serving
Directions
In a food processor combine first 6 ingredients ( sundried tomatoes through True Lemon), Then process until well-blended.
- Add mixture to a large bowl and stir in hot spice, salt, pepper, and basil.
- Chill for about 1 hour.
- Serve with crackers, crostini, and/or raw veggies. Enjoy!
