New Year, New Cooking: Salmon In Air Fryer
The new year is in full swing! Are you fishing for some new healthier recipes? Grab your air fryer and a few fresh salmon fillets and try a delicious and easy meal.
If you haven’t tried out cooking with an air fryer, you’re missing out on something great! An air fryer makes cooking a healthy meal easy, quick, and convenient. Especially for salmon – there’s no flipping required and no oil spattering around the stove. You can set it and forget it while whipping up some of your favorite sides to go with it.
Try out the recipes below for a scrumptious salmon and a side of fresh green beans! In a short amount of time, you can have a perfectly balanced meal ready to go for the whole family.
Tips For Cooking Salmon in an Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer. Preheating your air fryer will speed up the cooking time a bit. But it will also allow the salmon to cook more evenly throughout each piece. It will also crisp up the edges, so they are nice and tasty.
Use evenly sized pieces. Try to make sure each salmon fillet is cut in equal thickness. This helps each one to cook at the same pace, so you won’t end up with some that are overcooked and some undercooked. If you have pre-portioned filets that are different sizes, you may consider cooking them in batches.
Don’t crowd the basket. It’s best if the salmon fillets have room in between them so they can cook through and crisp on the edges. If they are stuck together, the moisture will affect the air circulating through the air fryer.
