New Year’s Eve Cocktails To Wow Guests
Glitter. Sparkles. And lots of bubbly drinks! The holidays are winding down to a close. Some may be relieved to see the stressful part of the holiday season go, but it’s bittersweet as we get back to a more “normal” routine.
But we can’t forget about one of the best holidays of all… New Year’s Eve!
People love to dress up and celebrate on New Year’s Eve. After all, you’re saying goodbye to another year full of goals, challenges, love, laughter and lessons learned. As the calendar page turns, you have a chance to say hello to a fresh new start. New adventures, new beginnings, new opportunities to carve your life into exactly what you want it to be.
Of course, you can’t properly ring in the new year without a fancy New Year’s cocktail to go right along with it!
Pretty glasses, colorful drinks, and yes – lots of bubbles! Celebrate in style with a few tasty cocktail recipes to get your guests into party mode and ready for that ball drop.
6 Cocktails To Ring In The New Year
French 75
A timeless champagne classic and a refreshing beverage to sip on anytime of day. Your guest and loved ones will always be delighted with fresh, light and bubbly French 75.
Ingredients:
· 1 ounce gin
· 2 packets True Lemon, dissolved in water
· ½ ounce simple syrup
· 3 ounces champagne
· Lemon twist, for garnish
Directions:
1. Add gin, True Lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled.
2. Strain into a champagne flute and top with champagne.
3. Garnish with lemon twist and enjoy!
True Grapefruit Berry Cocktail
Low in calories but refreshing in taste! The lower amount of sugar in this cocktail means you can party through the night without the headache and guilt the next morning. Of course, you can always jazz it up with a splash of champagne!
Ingredients:
· 1 ounce vodka
· 2 or 3 packets of True Grapefruit
· 7 ounces of club soda
· Ice
· Mint leaves
· Fresh or frozen raspberries
Directions:
1. Gently mix together vodka, seltzer and True Grapefruit. Pour over ice.
2. Add raspberries and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
True Citrus Champagne Punch
There’s nothing more NYE than a champagne cocktail! Put a spin on this classic beverage.
Ingredients:
· 4 teaspoons True Lemon Shaker (or 16 True Lemon packets) dissolved in ½ cup water
· 2/3 cup sugar
· 1 cup vodka
· ½ cup limoncello (may be omitted if you cannot find any)
· 2 teaspoons vermouth
· Assorted fresh fruit (such as raspberries and sliced peaches)
· 1 (750ml) bottle chilled dry champagne or sparkling wine
· Ice
· Fresh mint (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine the True Lemon water, sugar, vodka, limoncello, and vermouth in a large nonreactive bowl and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Add fresh fruit and stir to combine.
3. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 1 to 2 hours.
4. Add the champagne and gently stir. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh fruit and mint. Yields 8-10 servings.
Brushed Bubbly with True Orange (From Diane Henderik)
Ring in the new year with bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! This is a great mocktail for kids or guests who don’t drink alcohol. But you can always sub in sparkling wine for the grape juice.
Ingredients:
· ¾ cup seltzer water
· ¼ cup white grape juice
· ¼ cup fresh raspberries
· 4 packets True Orange
Directions:
1. Dissolve True Orange in water.
2. Fill each section of an ice cub tray with 4 raspberries and then top with True Orange mixture. Freeze completely. (About one hour.)
3. Fill champagne flute with seltzer water. Add white grape juice and place two cubes of frozen raspberries in the glass.
True Lemon Cucumber Martini
Shaken or stirred? This is a simple twist on a timeless classic.
Ingredients:
· 3 ounces gin
· ½ ounce dry vermouth
· 1 packet True Lemon Cucumber Fruit Infusion
· Cucumber, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
1. Pour gin, vermouth and Lemon Cucumber packet into a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir and strain into a martini glass.
3. Garnish with cucumber. Enjoy!
True Orange Old Fashioned
Another classic cocktail, and there are so many ways to make an Old Fashioned. Serve up a good one and you’re sure to leave all your guests impressed.
Ingredients:
· 1.5 ounces Bourbon or Rye
· 2 dashes bitters
· 1 packet True Orange
· 1 tablespoon water
· 1 sugar cube
· Ice
Directions:
1. Combine water, True Orange, and sugar cub into a glass. Mix until dissolved.
2. Add ice, bitters and alcohol. Stir until combined.
3. Serve cold and enjoy!
