Referrals are a critical part of growing our True Citrus community, so thank you for helping! The True Citrus Refer-a-Friend Program offers True Citrus customers and brand enthusiasts (“you” or “your”) the opportunity to receive promotional coupon codes towards future purchases from True Citrus Company (“True Citrus”, “we” or “our”) by referring their friends to True Citrus (“REFERRAL PROGRAM”).
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS REFERRAL PROGRAM, YOU UNCONDITIONALLY ACCEPT AND AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”), AS WELL AS THE True Citrus Terms & Conditions and True Citrus Privacy Policy, WHICH ARE INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS OF USE, YOU SHALL NOT ENTER THE REFERRAL PROGRAM.
True Citrus reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason. Without limiting the foregoing rights, we reserve the right to disqualify you from participating in this Referral Program at any time at our discretion if you fail to comply with these Terms. Violations of these Terms may also result in the forfeiture of all promotional coupons you previously earned through this Referral Program. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify rewards in our sole discretion, as we deem fair and appropriate.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility to participate in this Referral Program is limited to individual consumers who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Void where prohibited. This Referral Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation or other commercial purposes.
QUALIFYING REFERRALS
You can earn a 40% off coupon code to use toward your future purchases on the True Citrus website (www.truecitrus.com) (the “Site”) if:
- You refer your friend (a “REFERRED CUSTOMER”) to make his or her first purchase on the True Citrus Site by sending such Referred Customer your unique referral link via email, text message, Twitter, Facebook, or another method that is permitted by these Terms (“REFERRAL LINK”);
- That Referred Customer arrives at the True Citrus Site by using your Referral Link; and
- That Referred Customer uses the unique discount code that automatically appears on a pop-up page on the True Citrus Site (“UNIQUE DISCOUNT CODE”) when making his or her first purchase on the True Citrus Site.
The Referred Customer must make his or her qualifying purchase during a True Citrus Site visit initiated through your Referral Link. A Referred Customer who fits the description above is herein referred to as a “QUALIFIED REFERRAL”. If the Referred Customer does not:
- Click on the Referral Link in their invite email or any other invite method you sent him or her, and
- Complete his or her purchase using the Unique Discount Code during a True Citrus Site visit initiated through your Referral Link,
The Referred Customer will not be a Qualified Referral, you will not receive a promotional coupon code and True Citrus will have no liability to you for such promotional coupon code, because there is no discernible way to identify that the purchase resulted from your referral.
Any promotional coupon codes offered through this Referral Program (the “Promotional Coupons”) are redeemable only for purchases made on the True Citrus Site, and are issued in the form of 40% off unless explicitly noted otherwise in an offer. Promotional Coupons have no cash value, can only be redeemed for True Citrus merchandise, may be subject to expiration dates or other restrictions in our sole discretion, and may be revoked by True Citrus at any time. Promotional Coupons cannot, under any circumstances, be redeemed for cash or any cash equivalent including, without limitation, gift cards or refunds. Promotional Coupons are not transferable and may not be auctioned, traded, bartered or sold. Please allow up to three (3) business days for Promotional Coupons to be emailed to you after your Referred Customer completes a qualifying order to become a Qualified Referral.
You are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Promotional Coupons. You are limited to one Promotional Coupon per Qualified Referral. For clarity, additional or repeat purchases made by a Referred Customer are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals and will not earn Promotional Coupons.
REFERRED CUSTOMERS
Referred Customers who click on a Referral Link and complete a Qualified Referral transaction as set forth above will be rewarded a Promotional code of 40% off their first purchase on the True Citrus Site (unless explicitly noted otherwise in an offer). Subscription product purchases are excluded. The scope, variety, and type of products that may be obtained by redeeming Promotional Coupons are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of True Citrus.
You cannot refer yourself to generate Qualified Referrals and earn Promotional Coupons. For an order to count as a Qualified Referral transaction, the Referred Customer must hold different personally identifiable information than you and the Referred Customer must not have previously made any purchases on the True Citrus Site (including, without limitation, under any other names, email addresses or aliases). A Referred Customer may only use one Referral Link. If a Referred Customer receives Referral Links from multiple participants in this Referral Program, only the participant whose Referral Link is used to make the qualifying purchase will be awarded a Promotional Coupon.
SHARING REFERRAL LINKS
This Referral Program may be used only for personal purposes and you may share your Referral Link only with your personal connections. We reserve the right to revoke or refuse to issue any Promotional Coupons for Qualified Referrals we suspect were generated through improper channels or otherwise in violation of these Terms.
NO SPAM
You may only share your Referral Link to Referral Customers via email by using the email referral tool available at https://www.truelemon.com/pages/refer
Your emails must:
- Be created and distributed in a personal manner,
- Not be distributed in a bulk manner, and
- Not be an unsolicited commercial email or a ‘spam’ message under any applicable law or regulation.
Any messages that do not abide by the requirements set forth in the previous sentence are expressly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate termination of your customer account and exclusion from this Referral Program. Purchases on the True Citrus Site made through a Referral Link that was distributed through an unauthorized channel will not result in Qualified Referrals, and, if discovered, any Promotional Coupons issued in connection with such transactions may be revoked.
TERMINATION AND CHANGES
We reserve the right to deactivate your customer account and a Referred Customer’s account, cancel all related Promotional Coupons, and request proper payment if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you or the Referred Customer:
- Has tampered with this Referral Program;
- Has used (or attempted to use) this Referral Program in a fraudulent, abusive, unethical, unsportsmanlike or otherwise questionable or suspicious manner;
- Has breached any of these Terms; or
- Has violated any law, statute, or governmental regulation.
We also reserve the right to cancel this Referral Program or change these Terms at any time and for any reason in our sole discretion. When we change these Terms, we will update the ‘Last Updated’ date at the top of these Terms. If we cancel our Referral Program, any unused Promotional Coupons will be forfeited at that time. PLEASE REGULARLY CHECK THE TRUE CITRUS SITE TO VIEW THE THEN-CURRENT TERMS.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION
As a condition of participating in the Referral Program, you release True Citrus and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, members, and employees from liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including property damage and/or personal injury that may occur in connection with or participation in this Referral Program and claims based upon copyright or trademark infringement, defamation, or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. You further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless True Citrus from and against nay and all losses, liability, claims, and causes of action, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by the True Citrus that arise from your participation in the Referral Program.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
True Citrus is not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate information provided as part of the Referral Program, human errors, technical malfunctions, or any other factors which may limit or prevent your ability to participate in the Referral Program even if caused by True Citrus’s negligence, failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions, or defects in any computer online system, compute equipment, servers, providers, or software, including any injury or damage to you or another person’s computer relating to participation or inability to participate in the Referral Program; inability to access the Site or upload information or data; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of data; or other errors. False, fraudulent, or deceptive information or acts by you, as determined by True Citrus, will renter you ineligible from this Referral Program.
